Easter 2013

Flashback
That was us last year celebrating our LAST holiday in the NICU.

We had a great time celebrating Easter this year with our family. We had an Easter egg hunt and a great lunch. The Easter bunny made two stops and Walker was more than happy.

Who is this big boy?
We headed over to my parent's house for a nice lunch and time to celebrate with our family.

Sisters are the best!

Taste good!

Confetti eggs were a big hit! Thanks Uncle Paul!

Walker found an egg!

He was so happy about his one egg he found that he stopped searching. Don't worry, Momma was on the hunt for W's eggs.

Oh yeah! We got Dad!

Counting his eggs

You are SO cute, Walker!

Mmmm, smells like money!

Catch!

Walker gave up his bunny mask to his cousin Isabella.
We decided to recreate last year's Easter picture and Walker was mesmerized with the egg lights. Those egg lights were the best $1 find in the Target bins last year. Love those lights!
And now I give you the comparison of what a difference a year makes! Viola!
We hope you had a very Happy Hoppy Easter!

Froberg Farm

Froberg Farm is a local farm that has strawberries that you can pick. They also have an awesome farmer's market inside their store with some really nice vegetables and fruits. But most importantly, they have fried pies. Mmmmm!

We decided to make it a play date and invited our "cousins" to go with us. It was fun, hectic, and hot.
Mr. Grumpy Pant, Walker, was a little upset because he had to wake up early that day. Having to be somewhere at 10 am is really hard on him. Haha!

That's a half smile

Oh he's happy now! Eating a buttermilk fried pie

Part of the group picking berries.
After picking berries we went to Aunt Sissy's house. Walker and Adam get along great. A couple months ago when Walker was learning to crawl, Adam would always dog pile Walker and rough him around. R used to tell him to give Walker a few months and he'll be coming after Adam. Boy was he right!

Boy will play rough! Look at that face!
After a nap and when R came home, we headed to my parent's house. When my mom went to Disney she brought my dad back a pair of Mickey ears. Walker is terrified when my dad puts them on. It's so funny!

See his hands in the "stop" gesture?

"Someone GET ME!"

"HELP! Pick me up FAST!"

My Favorite Time of the Night

Even now and then Walker will go through these phases where loves to lay down in our bed to fall asleep. We move him to his bed after he's asleep. It usually is around the time he is getting a new tooth or is getting sick, some times the two go hand in hand.

I love when he does it. He snuggles in his little nook like he used to when he was little. He has to get
in the most  perfect spot and we'll just look at each other and talk. He usually puts his little baby hand on my mouth when I talk. I stroke his face and always go to his cheek where he lets out the silliest little laugh. Even when he's sleeping he'll still do it. I love these moments.

Wordless Wednesday

"Let me just see what happens if I pull this knee up like this."

"Oh hey Momma!"

"Did you see what I did?"

VERY proud of himself!

Whoa there daredevil!

And then we went to Nana and Papa's...
He loves pushing the baby.

He's going to make a great husband and father one day!
