Woo hoo! It's arrived!

The other day was day 10 of Provera and today I had the weirdest headache. I still have one and my cycle has started! That means on Thursday I will start taking clomid! I'm super excited. R has the baby bug super bad right now. Praying that it works the first time for us! Calling my doctor on Monday and confirming the instructions and notifying them that we are starting clomid.

Provera Day 6 and Finished Tile Work

I've really been feeling the drowsiness side effect. I'm tired all the time and bloated. Today I celebrated Easter with my family with brunch at Cullen's. It was fantastic! On mother's day we will be celebrating with another brunch at the San Luis and I can't wait! Cullen's had an amazing bread pudding!

Here are the pictures of the tile. Joel did an amazing job! All we have to do is seal it, paint, and put in the toilet and vanity.

Everything is out of the bathroom now!

Hardy board for the tile.

Tile without the grout.

I love the border!

Floor tile with grout!

Shower/tub with grout!

I'm so happy with the finished product!

Provera Day 4

Yuck, yuck, yuck! Day 4 has had the side effects kick in majorly. I'm grumpy, I'm happy, I'm tired, I'm sad. My moods are really swinging here! My face is broke out and I feel nauseous. This is the part that I dislike but I know what it could lead to and I'm happy about that. Only a few more days!

The A/C is finally fixed! Hooray!

In five hours, I finished 18 substandards on my portfolio! YAY! Only 14 more to go....

R took everything but the cast iron bathtub out today. The tub seems to be the hardest thing. Did I mention that it's CAST IRON?! Do you know how heavy that sucker is going to be? It's amazing how small the room seems now. Weird to think that it holds as much as it does.

Here's me in my brand new Kohler soaking tub! I can't wait to soak away!
Tomorrow begins the process of laying tile! I'm super excited to share those photos with you!

Provera Day 3 and Demolition!

Provera day 3. Nothing new. I think I can tell a difference is starting to take place inside of my body. The last time I took Provera I didn't take all the pills. We will see. I'm anxious!

R started ripping out the bathroom. Awesome!
Here are some pictures of the before:

Awesome, retro, blue tile, huh? Yeah, right!

Demolition pictures:

Tomorrow, R will take the bathtub and finish taking the tile out. He's working so hard and I'm so proud! I had no idea that the A/C would take two days to complete so we are STILL without air in the majority of the house. Our room is nice and cold though.

Provera Day 2

Nothing happening...

I have been sweating my booty off. I'm off this week from school supposed to be working on my portfolio. Our A/C went out and the guy can't come till tomorrow (Wednesday). I have not accomplished anything! I wanted to spend the first few days of this week to complete the assignment and then have a long weekend, no way! It's so hot, even as I write, it's 11:40 p.m. I'm getting hot and sticky right now. YUCK! To make matters worse, he won't be here till 3 tomorrow afternoon.

Let me just say that I am SO excited for May 6th! Something Borrowed was a fantastic book and I can't wait to see the movie! Emily Giffin is a fabulous writer. Her latest book, Heart of the Matter, that book had me all kinds of mad!

Anyways, other fabulous news...Tomorrow my honey will be tearing everything out of my bathroom! YAY! A very good friend will be coming to lay the tile down and put the bathtub in on Friday. Cannot wait! Pictures soon.

Tomorrow is day 3. We shall see what it brings!

Back in Action! Provera Day 1

Oh how time flies! It's almost summer time! I'm busy finishing up my last few weeks of school interning at an amazing elementary. Jobs are still scarce.
We are updating my bathroom. We've purchased all the materials and R is going to start tearing everything out on Wednesday night! YAY! Just another thing to add to the list of things when we go to sell it again.
Oh yeah, and a whole new A/C unit. Let me tell you about that! Our unit has been breaking on and off for two weeks. Thank goodness we still had a window unit from Hurricane Ike! It will be fixed on Wednesday!

But enough of that boring stuff......Today, April 18, marks the day that I start Provera. Now, what Provera does is jump start my cycle. There are 10 little pills in my prescription, but if my cycle begins anytime during those 10 days I stop taking them. If it doesn't start after taking the 10 pills, then it will be a week.

After that you ask?

Begins the next step!
